Good luck! And the best advice I can give you is, don't push it if he's clearly not ready. Give it a few days, and if it's not working, take a break before trying again. It's not worth stressing yourself and him over. But again, good luck x
Good luck with this. I agree with Mel, just see how it goes. My DS didn't want to know at 3 but by 3.5 he potty trained in 3 days. They need to be ready too.
Put cheerios in the water and make a game of it, see if he can it the cherrios....I know sounds dumb but it worked for me and I can still see my son laughing while playing this game, Good Luck.....:-) Hugs

He might feel better using this than a potty. Just take it one day at a time.x
