Pink Saturday

Good morning and welcome to the first Pink Saturday post of 2010! As ever, we have been organised by the fabulous Beverly over at How Sweet The Sound; do check out her blog for a complete list of participants. My 'pinkie' this week is this gorgeous felt elephant made by my sister and given to me as a surprise at Christmas. I absolutely love her and have her standing on my PC desk, next to a favourite photo of DS. She has to be a she, as she is far too beautiful to be male!
This week, Beverly also asked us to mention any new projects we might be working on this year ~ mine is 365:2010, a daily photographic project, and you can read about it here.

This week's GiveAway can be seen in the post below this one (nothing handcrafted this week, I'm afraid): if you would like a chance to win it, please leave a comment to show that you dropped by; become a follower of this ordinary, run-of-the-mill blog if you'd like a 2nd chance of winning. The random number selector thingy will choose the winner at 12 Noon (GMT) on Tuesday, 5 January.

That is a great elephant - such fun! I can see why you like her so much. And I love the photo of your little guy listening to a story. Great angle and great shot! Special memories. Good luck with your photos this year. Happy Pink Saturday.

Blessings,
Tricia
