Pink Saturday

Good morning and welcome to the third Pink Saturday post of 2010! As ever, we have been organised by the fabulous Beverly over at How Sweet The Sound; do check out her blog for a complete list of participants. My 'pinkie' this week is this totally fabulous piece of artwork created by my DS .... me, biased?! I love that just now pink is merely a colour for him, and there's none of that silliness over pink being for girls. (But I know that's lurking just around the corner...)
This week's GiveAway can be seen here: if you would like a chance to win it, please leave a comment to show that you dropped by; become a follower of this ordinary, run-of-the-mill blog if you'd like a 2nd chance of winning. The random number selector thingy will choose the winner at 12 Noon (GMT) on Tuesday, 19 January.
If you've the time, stop by Winona's blog at Scrappychicdiva for more pink loveliness. I must apologise for lack of blog hopping last week. We had a house full for DS's birthday. I hope to do much better today.

I think DS's art work is wonderful, before I read the journaling I had a good look at it, thought it was quite different and wondered if was abstract art or something. Looks like it was ;o)
Have a lovely weekend Ruth, I'm glad to see the snow disappearing and love being able to get out again.

Your DS has a great sense of color and balance in design. I have saved some of my son's preschool and elementary drawings and paintings because he had such a natural ability to create beautiful designs. It seems your DS has this same talent.

Ah, he's clearly his mother's crafty talents :-) A beautiful piece which I'm sure has pride of place!

I love it when boys love pink! My Ds is ok with it at 8 but prob wouldn't e his favourite colour! Friends sons nearly cried when I gave them a pink cup once and they gave me all the pink straws they had from a packet at home.... had to laugh!

♫Happy Pink Saturday♫

Gloomy and gray over in my neck of the woods today so all of the pinks shared this Saturday are so special and cheerful. They remind me that there are more colors than just white, gray and black.Your pinks are wonderful! My goodness - so special☺

I hope your weekend is filled with sunshine surrounded by the laugher of those you love.

Please pray for the people of Haiti. May God bless each and every soul.

The artwork is very nice, but it's the slippers that made me smile. Yes, you'll have to save the pictures to show his wife someday.

Happy Pink Saturday, Ruth.

Your son looks so cute trying the pink slippers, and I love his art work. I still have art done by my son many years ago.
