So, this morning we were expecting to wake up to 6 inches or so of snow. In actuality, we had just a light dusting. However, by 8.30am it was snowing again and it hasn't let up since. These shots were just taken at 4pm, one from our bedroom window at the back of the house, and one from the spare bedroom window at the front.

It is lovely, but I am praying that we do not get that in Florida with our citrus crops and tropical plants here. Do you know that they are talking like we might get snow??? In the SUNSHINE STATE??? It snowed years ago in Tallahassee when I was there (twice)... once when in school and once when passing through, and people just freaked! LOL! But down below the frost line, a lot of the country's citrus and food crops are at risk, not to mention tropical plants, so I am praying the bad cold doesn't reach down this far. We hit freezing last night.

We are in the middle of an icy snow tonight! It is so darn cold we can hardly stay warm! I have my favorite hot drinks apple cider with a dash of Jim Beam and hot cocoa with marshmallows and Peppermint Schnapps.I am tucked into my toasty warm bed with a quiet hubby reading and my stack of five boojs to finish! Stay warm and safe and thanks for sharing your wonderful blog!
