~ Face at the window ~
Now that DS has given up his afternoon nap, I have instigated rest time. It's not a regular event, it's only called into play when I feel that DS is becoming over-excited and in danger of heading for a meltdown. Even though I draw the blind in his room, DS knows that he is allowed to look at his books or to play quietly. My theory is that a semi-darkened room will help to calm him down and, so far, it seems to be working.

Rest time is a great idea, and does help to calm them down. Love the cute little face at the window! :-)
Gosh, he does well to actually rest .... little miss runs on full speed all day - rest??? What is that?
This is a great idea, Ruth. And I think it's always good to have a little quiet "down" time to yourself...whether you're 3 or 33! :o)
I agree Ruth, quiet time is a good thing for DS......:-) Hugs
I love the photos that you take each day! I haven't kept up with my p365, but I'm trying to pick up my camera again and keep trying!
