~ Bringing out the big guns ~
The snow may have gone, but it is still bitterly cold here.  The only sensible response was to invest in "sensible" footwear ~ every time I put them on, I smile.  Why?  Because they remind me so much of the High Leg boots I used to wear in the RAF.  But I don't care, because coupled with my thermal socks, I have warm and toasty feet.

I think they are cool! I'm shuffling around in my Ugg boots - mainly because they have such great grip. Our pavements have turned treacherous.

Those Are Coool Boots!! Love them! Sensible too - which is a definite bonus... Bet your RAF boots didnt have furry stuff inside/round the edges?

I bought myself a pair of Uggs this year and I love them - so warm! I need to be comfortable and warm otherwise I'm miserable! So I wholeheartedly agree with your choice :)

Very cool indeed! Not often necessary here though :-)

Sometimes I wish it were cold enough here to wear boots like that, love them :)

Oh those are lovely. I would like a pair of those. I have been wearing my hiking boots because of the treacherous black ice that has coated all the pavements in Cork City during this spell. My lace-up sexy boots sit forlornly in the corner.
