Trying to hold it all together...
I just KNEW I had seen someone else doing weekly B&W photos and now I know who it was! I'm really liking B&W for a change and am gradually realising that I need to be more aware of contrasts when not using colour photography. Love your Contrast and Compare post, there certainly is an amazing resemblance there!
Neat shot!I just finished The Help. Interesting that it's been read internationally.XO,Sheila :-)
So... you decided on your photography project for the year.I quite like the idea of B&W and hardly ever take these. So perhaps I'll include one a week in my 365 project. Best of both worlds!Love the library photo. There's nothing quite like being among books! So sad that a lot of second hand book shops are closing now. Amazon & other online stores are taking over & a few of my favourite shops have gone :(
Our library book club meets every third Monday night of the month. This month we are reading The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton.......:) Hugs
Great shot. I'm waiting to read the Help but every time I go to the library someone else has the same idea and it's always out!!!I'm also waiting for The Elegance of the Hedgehog - just becaue I thought the title was cool.
I loved The Help - read it over the summer and I love the way the black and white makes me look at the library shelves in a different way
I've just read the Wikipedia blurb on 'The Help' & its now top of my 'Must Read in 2011' list!Love your b&w shot of the books on the shelves - makes me want to go the library!! xx
I like this - it works really well in black and white :-)
