Cheerio Christmas

I made the most of DS returning to Nursery School this morning and used the time to remove Christmas from our house.  This year, the recycling guys will even collect the tree from our house; in previous years, DH has dragged it to a collection point on the Common.

:o) Hi Ruth ~ When I first read your title I was a little confused. "Cherrios" are a very popular brand of breakfast cereal here in the US so I was a bit taken aback and thought "huh?" Ha! Then I realized it was UK slang for good bye. I love the photo you chose for this post. xo

Doesn't the house look and feel bare when they come down. It does give me a good opportunity to give my LR a good cleaning but I am glad to have them away.....:-) Hugs

The start of term is definitely the time to take down the decorations! But yes, things feel a bit bare and empty for a few days at first, don't they?
