Not long ago, when I was having a conversation about discipline with my Mum, she suggested removing what The Seven Year Old liked ... I gently explained that it would never work because he would just head outside and play with sticks - he loved that equal to anything inside and grovy like lego!
I hope so too :-) The Girl still loves sticks - we have quite a colection by the door, where they're carefully stacked because they're not allowed in the house!

Mine just need plain cardboard boxes.
I think it's funny how much "toys" are pushed and yet all of mine enjoyed the simple things like sticks and rocks and cardboard boxes...
