Mother's Day

My SIL invited us to a Lambing Day event at her local agricultural college.
 There were horses.
 There were owls.
And there were what seemed like hundreds of these little beauties.
It was awesome and a perfect way to spend Mother's Day.  And to round it off, DH is cooking my supper ~ roast beef and all the trimmings.

My kids all contacted me this morning - the boys are living a distance away and I will see them soon. My daughter and granddaughter called in and gave me hugs and kisses, my favourite gift. my lovely ex daughter-in-law brought me flowers and they then did what I like best, they went home and left me to enjoy some sleazy time with Mr M

I know I am late, time zones are to blame, Happy Mother's Day Ruth, it looks as though it was a lovely day and I hope the roast lived up to expectation!

Oh, great! So glad you had a special day :-) The Girl's class were due to visit a farm yesterday to see the new lambs but there was a problem with illness so it had to be cancelled, pity!
