The idea this week was to scrap overlapping photos ~ the panoramic view sort. Thing is, I don't have any views like that, or at least none that I want to scrap. Instead, I went with 2 shots where the camera is pointed upwards. When I began to take photography seriously in my early 20s, the best advice I was given was to look up, especially when photographing cityscapes. Looking up makes for a much more interesting shot.

Nice take on the sketch. I like how you substituted two vertical photos for the panoramic ones. Great shots of NYC!!
I really LOVE this layout - all the blue makes my heart happy! And the photos - that's my side of the pond! ;)
Wow! I could feel myself actually lifting my head to look up as I looked at this - that's the power of suggestion for you!
Sian's right. You do feel as though you need to look up to see the pictures.
stunning shots of iconic NYC scenes making a great page.
I love the different shades of blue you used; coupled with the fab photos, this is such a beautiful layout!
I'm always a sucker for a layout with B&W photos but this is truly lovely!
