The latest design suggestion from Shimelle should have been straight forward ~ six portrait 4x6 photos across a double page spread. So how come I found it so fiddly? Because I realised that the cardstock wasn't true 12x12, which was irritating, but sorted out with a spot of nifty trimming.Every Christmas, when the Royal Ballet stages The Nutcracker, certain roles are filled by the youngest students from the School ~ the party children, the toy soldiers and the mice. It's an exhausting 5 week run for the children, as they don't get their Christmas holidays, but to spend that amount of time at the Royal Opera House is an amazing experience and one that they (and me) never tired of.
Completing Shimelle's challenges is certainly helping to create the album of my time working at the Royal Ballet School.

Love your LO using Shimelle's 4x6 class - and what a wonderful experience for the children to have at Christmas!
Lovely :-)
Lovely pics and LO...you ARE quick at getting these sketches done!

It's going to be a beautiful album. Are you still a ballet fan? I really enjoyed "The Most Extraordinary Thing" on TV the other night.
It's so frustrating when cardstock isn't the size you think. Lovely photos and pages.
