Sometimes

Sometimes, this is the best you can get. Sometimes, getting three boys to sit still at the same time is just too much. Sometimes, it doesn't matter. Sometimes, getting the shot is actually what counts.
And I know that Sian agrees.

Lovely photo! And that funny little fuzz from DS moving his arm just adds to the interest and niceness of the picture.
The older boys look so serious and thoughtful.
A great photo Ruth - something to give you good memories for ever!

If you wanted 'pefect' studio pics you'd have gone to a studio. This photo has a story behind it.

You got the shot, well done! Perfection doesn't matter :) xx

Such a contrast between the serious faces of the 'cousins' and DS's giggles!

The difference between Mummy taking the picture and Aunty taking the picture. DS is so embarassed by his mother making such a thing about sitting and posing and the other two would love to be the same but they don't see you often enough to totally relax and tell it like it is.
I think it is a fabulous shot and exactly what scrapbooking is all about

A great mix of the slightly serious and the "I can't keep this up any longer!".

I'm surprised to see J sitting so still. Still it's great to get a shot of them all together. xx

I agree Ruth, it's about the captured moment not the perfect photo.
