Ruth, do they have a parents support group local to you? Sometimes the words of those who are on the same journey can be very helpful and reassuring.Keep strong. :-)
Hugs, Ruth and agreeing with what Alison said. Prayers winging to heaven for you.
I completely agree with Alison. I suspect your own intuition is going to count for just as much
Don't let the "experts" overide your instincts. You are his mother not them and you DO know what is right for your child. Listen to everything and then make up your own mind.Sending lots of hugs and soothing thoughts for your stressed out mind.OH, and stop looking for ways that make it your fault. Some things are there for a reason.
There's a forum called asdfriendly.org which I've found to be a fantastic source of advice and support. Lots of parents who have sensible words of advice or who can point you in the direction of help you might never have thought of (or that might just be me!)
One day at a time xxx
