The Boy Child managed to trip over his own feet this afternoon and head butt the living room wall. Today, I've never been more grateful for the NHS. Once we got to A&E, they took him straight in to be seen. Five minutes later, patched up with steri-strips and magic glue, he was as good as new. Almost.
It's his mummy who was left a sobbing heap.

Oh bless. Give him a big hug from Samuel and Auntie Liz xxx
Samuel said he and H can compare scars when we come to visit in August xxxx
Glad he is okay and hopefully you have calmed down now! Take care.
That looks nasty..hope you are BOTH feeling better!

Ow! Poor him - and poor you! Sending hugs to you both xx
Oh dear, that looks quite painful (though perhaps more so for you). Hope you've both recovered from the scare xx
As a nurse I am used to being calm in the face of accidents etc etc but not so when it comes to my children! I hope you are both much better now xxx
Ouch! poor baby! But still that sweet smile is peeking through :)
Ouch, poor little bloke, that is going to bruise for sure!
All okay now?
Poor TBC and poor you but what a lovely reassuring smile for the camera.
Poor thing! (..and that's both of you!)
Oh NO! His Grandma Marti and Papa Rod are not going to like this! Poor boy child, and poor you! xo
Oh no! Hope it heals quickly!
Poor little chap... not fun.
And Poor Mummy! I understand the bit about "sobbing heap"... my (v. little) DS tripped and split his head on the edge of the door. I was just as upset as he was - but had to try and stay calm for him. Once he was patched up and comforted, I was still shaking for hours..
Hope all are settled and feeling better (and that TBC doesn't have a bad headache).

It's hard work being a brave mummy when your children are hurt isn't it? Hope he is soon feeling much better.
