My husband {The Brainy One} chose our word for 2012: enjoy. Not because he wants us to be frivolous with our lives, but because he wants us to grasp every opportunity, good or bad, that comes our way this year.
June was, in Ali's words, all about getting out of your head, renewing your commitment to your word, and maybe (just maybe) getting a bit messy.
Ha! I just don't do messy.
Instead, I used scraps of brightly coloured card and patterned paper and added recent photos of the three of us.

But, before you go ... 2012 is also the year of Happy Mail ~ the chance to receive a small parcel in the post, just because. There's no catch. You don't have to do anything in return. See this post, if you'd like to join in. Internationals welcome.

Love your brightly colored cards and your little guy's smiling face!
I find it really hard to do messy too! Love the 9 patch and the use of photos. Way to make this month's homework assignment your own! -Amanda
yeah messy was hard to do - paper and card is well within my comfort zone. Nice idea to add in the photos too :)
