Photo a Day: 16th August

Some times, the only thing to do is sneak away with a book and cup of tea and hope that no-one notices.  I picked up Night Circus after seeing it everywhere on London transport and beginning to appear on blogs.  I'm only a few pages in, yet I already know that it's one of those reads where you have to suspend belief.  And I'm not always a fan of that kind of read, with Cross Stitch being the exception.
What are you reading this month?
And how are you reading?
Good old proper book or the dark side Kindle?

I'm a total convert to the dark side. Was an absolute godsend when we went on holiday. I used to be like you but surprised myself with how quickly I got used to it :0)
Don't get me wrong if it is a special book I will buy the book.

Ditto on being a total convert to the dark side! Having said that, it's real books from the library that are 'to read' at the moment!

I am 'reading' a Cathy Kelly book..and have just finished listening to a rather steamy romance on my Kindle! Much as I enjoy listening to a book whilst lying in the sun, I still prefer holding a real book in my hand whilst reading!
Any news on TBC's eyes?

I don't have an e-reader so it is the good old fashioned books for me - though, I'd be interested to try one out as I can imagine they are very convenient.

I read anything, if there are words I have to read them. Mr M bought me a kindle for Christmas and I regularly go through the free books lists on Amazon. I am also a bookcrosser and run the Official Bookcrossing Zone in this here city so I get books too. At the moment I am reading a biography of Abraham Lincoln on the kindle,in bed. and I am completely out of books as of 4pm when I finished the Madeleine Wickham.

I'm too far over to the Dark Side now. Love it. I may see if I can get Night Circus if you think it's any good. xxx

I haven't been converted. I'm a big lover of that moment when you open a new book and crush the spine (if you can bear to!) and the smell...oh, the smell of a book!
