My husband {The Brainy One} chose our word for 2012: enjoy. Not because he wants us to be frivolous with our lives, but because he wants us to grasp every opportunity, good or bad, that comes our way this year.
This month, the idea was to take a breath. In Ali's words, "No introspective writing. No thinking. No list of steps to follow. No mess."
But she did want a photo, self-portrait or otherwise.
In regard to our word of "enjoy", it's been a good month. We have survived the 8 weeks of summer holidays, we've made life-changing decisions and begun to put them in to practice, we've spent time with both families. So, I'm looking in to September, which has its own huge adventure to be enjoyed, and I'm putting one foot in front of the other and believing that right now is where I'm supposed to be.
