Photo a Day: 27th October

We travelled up to mum's today for the second week of The Boy Child's half-term.  We usually use the motorways all the way, but once we got to middle England, the motorway was stop, start and nose-to-tail.  We opted to leave the motorway and take the scenic route and I'm glad that we did; it was a perfect Autumnal day and the view from the car stunning.
It may take a little while longer, but well worth it.
