This Moment

Alexa, of Trimming the Sails, has invited people to share a moment with her. Nothing fancy, just a few well chosen words, or a photo, or a scrapbook page. My moment turned out to be a combination of all three.
I don't know how I came across Alexa's blog, possibly through Amy (who has already shared her moment), but I'm very glad I did.  She has a wonderful writing style and can easily draw a vibrant picture with her use of words. She's also a fabulous scrapbooker.
Why not join in?  Alexa would love to hear from you.

I made some notes for a moment earlier today :) Need to write them up, but it was an interesting exercise of itself - and I'm always fascinated to read everyone else's, so thanks for sharing yours x

Hello Ruth, and I'm so delighted to read your moment today and thank-you so very much for joining in. I got a real picture of the quietness of the moment in the midst of the so-accurately described surroundings and a sense of the business that awaits you. It's been lovely to join you! :)

This is such a lovely, quiet, simple moment in your day, I hope you hung on to it for a little bit longer Ruth. I am posting mine tomorrow.

Your moment is so beautifully displayed Ruth. How well you describe your day of busyness while sitting quietly for a reflective minute.

Oooh, this is fabulous Ruth - I can picture you sitting there writing and looking around yourself at all the bits and pieces ... my place sounds similar on any given day!

It's east to picture you sat at your table. So well described.

Cool self portrait - both the photo and the moment. I've not listened to Radio 2 past breakfast in ages. When Wookie worked at home everything stopped for Popmaster :)

Glad you got your couple of minutes peace.

I am really enjoying seeing these "moment's in time" layouts and how descriptive one moment can be. Well done :)

PS - I used your photo today on my blog :)
