Back to School:Year Two

It's over.
We survived eight weeks of the Summer holidays.
Back to school today.
New Headteacher.
New teacher.
New classroom; top of the school, a gazillion stairs.
Old friends.
New friends.
Days filled with discovering new things.
Days filled with honing those fine motor skills.
Free reader status coming ever closer.  He could be there by half-term.
French.
LAMDA classes.
Auditioning for choir, hopefully.
It's going to be amazing.
Bring it on.

Such a HUGE thing to reach that point in reading. What a clever boy!
It's amazing how involved I feel considering we have never met. I felt a great surge of joy when I read your post, just the same as for my own grandchildren. Wonderful feeling. Thank you for sharing

Hope his first day back was wonderful. He looks awesome in his uniform! Well done on the reading soon. I still remember becoming a free reader and what an exciting day that was!
