Cake, Cats, Countryside and Children

A wee peek into our Saturday spent out in the wet (and partially flooded) countryside.
Can't go wrong with a spot of tea and cake.
Pity The Brainy One is allergic to the house cats.
Awful to see how much flooding there is to the west of London.
Funny how children love to go out in the dark with torches.
Back to suburbia tomorrow and a Harry Potter party ...

Those sweets look amazing. Cute kiddos, too. I am with the Brainy One as my allergies act up around cats these days.

So sorry to see the flooding. We have had rain off and on all day. I guess I should be thankful since parts of California are in real trouble with draught.

Just had a lovely catch up, Ruth...I hadn't realised that the flooding was bad in London too! It looks like you've had a lovely weekend....but I probably couldn't have stopped long in the house with the cat....I have severe allergic reactions to cats!

Looks like a fun weekend 😀. It's so sad to see all the flooding around the country and it makes me very grateful to live where we do. Enjoy the party x

The flooding is bad isn't it? I'm glad I live atop a hill. Loved the title :)
