In the Footsteps of Those Who Have Gone Before

This morning, as I photographed The Boy Child, I had a sense of déjà vu.
I'd seen this image before.
The same and yet not the same.
Separated by some 60 years or more.
The family historian in me is excited by the knowledge that he has walked 
directly in the footsteps of those he is descended from.
That's pretty cool.

That is really amazing to have the two photos. I think more amazing is how very little of the surrounding buildings have changed.

The family historian in me rejoiced for you! I had my picture taken when I was about 8 at St Fagans with my maternal grandparents and then again some 55 years later I stood in the same place and Mr M took my picture. I really enjoyed scrapbooking that page
