Scrapbook Saturday

A few hours to myself means only one thing.
The chance to play with photos, pretty paper and glue.
You might think that I'd have started on the holiday photos,
but to be honest, there are so many I don't know where to start.
With a little 4x6 Photo Love help from Shimelle
and the soundtrack of our summer,
Deep in the Heart of Texas, on the iPlayer.
Seven 4x6 photos on the double spread and a further four
in a divided 12x6 page protector.
As both bride and groom had served in the Royal Navy,
an understated nautical theme was called for.
Along with plenty of blue and yellow
to complement the colour of the sky in the photos.
That patterned paper, Echo Park's Pirate's Life, was my best purchase from Hobby Lobby.
Half price in the sale, a mere $4.99.

A few hours to yourself sounds blissful - as your happy pages bear witness. Great photo of you and the boy child in your respective sunglasses.

Lovely photos, and your two page layout certainly does them justice. And don't you just love divided protectors for the extras.
