Me on Monday

The dreich weather has called for indoor activities today,
and having boxed off the chores,
I finished off two layouts I'd begun over the weekend.
The miserable weather on Saturday's photos meant that the page
looked much better with smaller photos and pops of colour.

You may have seen on my sister's blog that she and
her family have been granted permanent residence status
in the United States.
Of course, that meant one more page for The Nephew's album.

I can think of worse ways to spend a Monday.

This post is adapted from Sian's Me on Monday theme,
which you can find on the
fabulous From High in the Sky blog.

I think that's a perfect way to spend a Monday where the weather has turned decidedly miserable!

The weather really is quite horrid. Your pages certainly brighten the day up. I'm having a cuppa and a slice of cake before venturing out.

Definitely a good way to spend a Monday. Those alphas on that first page are so perfect. They just look so right there!

Hope you find something nice in your week :)

Such perfect embellishments on both your pages ... Scrapbooking sounds a great way to begin the week. I love your phrase 'boxed off the chores' - I think you need to run a class for us in this!
