Month in Numbers | March 2016

It wasn't a marvellous March,
more of a muddling through kind of March.
As you might expect, the numbers I chose to record related to Mum.
Just three sets of numbers, but evidence of a stressful and emotional March.
15: the number of letters and thank-yous I wrote on Mum's behalf.
100s: the number of books we packed up ready to send to the Hospice book shop.
 An eclectic mix of genres.
8: the number of black bags we filled with Mum's clothes.
They're bound for the charity shop.

Month in Numbers is the brainchild of Julie
and you'll always find a warm welcome over at her place.
 Not to mention entertaining posts about a varied list of topics.
Go on over, stop by and say hello.

{I compiled pages for January and February, but decided they were not for sharing.}

Oh Ruth. I admire your decision and determination to document it all. I admire your process of working on it now - while it's still impossibly hard. Standing witness to your own feelings in the here and now is brave and tough and you're doing a beautiful job of it.

You're safely tucked up on the Pinterest board alongside me and Deb now.

May April bring you another stake to hold on to while the storm's still blowing. x

Sometime in the future, maybe not for quite a long time yet, you'll look back at this and admire your own grit.

I agree with Sian, that being past it will add perspective. I love the very graphic feel that those numbers give to your page - a little starkness to a muddle-through month seems appropriate.
