Snap #24 | The Colosseum, Rome

Helena has a new photographic theme for 2016:
Snap, a visually linked group of 2 to 4 images.
 The Colosseum is Rome's most popular tourist destination,
and it's not hard to see why.
 You can feel the scale of history coming through the stone.
{Was that a wee bit fanciful?}
 The Boy Child said that wearing his
 Italia football shirt made him Italian.
Listening to Mum's advice about composition
of a photo can pay off.

 You can see more Snap images here.

He looks suitably Italian! The Coliseum is certainly quite something.

love his hat too - it does look imposing and not too many crowds in the images either

No, that doesn't sound fanciful .... I think you can feel the history in the stones. Lovely photos, especially the first one.

These are beautiful. I loved being there but when we went the crowds were overwhelming. I love your boy's hat!

No I don't think it sounds fanciful at all.

He looks very Italian..like he is about to jump into a Fiat 500 any minute now
