What Caught Her Eye

I've come to end of sharing what caught her eye.
That Smythson notebook is now on a shelf,
and within easy reach for those times when I want to feel her close to me.
I've shared 31 entries of sayings and quotations,
things that resonated with her.
I hope at least one of them might have resonated with you.

It has been a very enjoyable 31 Fridays & yes there were many that resonated with me, some had me thinking & puzzling over the quote, some landed in the middle of my heart & sat comfortably there. I think your Mum would have been thrilled that you thought her favourites were to be shared. Thank you Ruth. Lovely photo of your Mum.

Oh, most definitely. More than one! Maybe you should keep on gathering and carry on the tradition.

Indeed, it has been a very special sharing, and though I didn't know your Mum, I feel as if I have had a little glimpse through her choices. Thank you. I know how wonderful it felt to discover a fragment of poetry my Mum had written down and kept in her purse, so to have a whole book must be such a connection and a joy.

Thank you for sharing these precious quotes with us. I think it would be lovely to continue adding to the book yourself.

I enjoyed every one of them! I'll miss "What Caught Her Eye" on Fridays.
