Snap #39 | Grand Central Station

Helena has a new photographic theme for 2016:
Snap, a visually linked group of 2 to 4 images.
***
Grand Central Station doesn't look much from the outside,
but the inside?
It's pure architectural loveliness.

If you hop over to Journal of Curious Things, you can read about
Kirsty's tour of the station ... and note that we took near identical photos.
You can see more Snap images here.

A most interesting SNAP collection. I like the lighting & thanks for the tour recommendation via Kirsty's blog - I will do later with a biscuit & tea :)

You've made the most of a wonderful trip (and wonderful photos) for your SNAP collections. This is another winner.

These are great shots! I visited Grand Central Station by myself one morning on my trip this past summer & took quite a few shots. It's amazing!

I have a picture of that clock too! Amazing station. I wonder how much the commuters take in.

I love this station(I have only seen it in photos though)...and coincidentally the same architect designed the railway station in Winnipeg where I live....hmmm..maybe that should be my next snap so we can compare architecture!

That ceiling is wonderful. I hope to go myself one day. Thanks for letting me live vicariously for now.

I bet it feels as if you are standing in the middle of a movie set.
