December Daily, 13th | Christmas Windows

Some of our Christmas traditions are extremely simple
and cost the price of the tube fare.
(And even then, The Boy Child still travels for free).
Christmas windows in the West End are always worth a look.

The best this year, in my opinion, are those at Fortnum and Mason on Piccadilly.
The worst are those at Harrods and Harvey Nichols,
and not worth photographing.

I love to see the decorated shop windows - such a disappointment when they lack magic - the envelope room is fabulous

Ah Christmas windows ... I haven't had time to visit the local ones (yet) Maybe this week. I like Cartier's window with the big red bow on the building & the Polar Bear Santa letters has got the seasonal magic just right. Happy Christmas Ruth.

The best ones here are in Dublin and I actually got to see them this year. Magic!

So FUN! I do like all that mail "flying around" in the window!
