Month in Numbers | November and December

I ran out of steam a little with collating numbers
for the last two months of 2016.
So much so, I filled two pockets with confetti and then stitched them shut
because I didn't have anything else to put in them.
Here's a look at November:
244: the number of lengths swum by me in the pool at the gym.
21: the number of times I went out with the pooch.
11: the number of 12x12 scrapbook pages I made this month.
If only I wasn't running out of scrapbook album storage space.
34: the number of Christmas cards written (and envelopes addressed).
I'm about half-way through our list.
29: the number of Christmas presents purchased by me.
Most of them were ordered on line.
27: the number of Christmas presents wrapped by me.
Including one actually for me ...
And in December:
24: the number of daily visits from Elvis the Elf during December
and only 1 duff landing!
21: the number of thank-you letters a certain young man is going to have to write.
5: the number of people who stayed with us, but not all at the same time.
45: the number of mince pies we may have eaten, approximately.
Most were mini ones!
1334: the number of pieces in my surprise present ...
the Lego Camper Van!
66: the number of Christmas cards posted by us.

I always enjoy these Month In Number posts of yours, Ruth - you've been a faithful keeper-upperer (you know what I mean!). I smiled in recognition at the recognition of not enough space for scrapbook albums, and also at your wrapping your own present yourself. I refused this year, on the grounds that since I had actually bought it, Someone Else could jolly well wrap it :). Glad to know that the younger generation is still being encouraged to write thank-you cards - such a lovely courtesy.

Again two great recaps of the months. I like the idea of the confetti. A couple of years ago someone included in a Christmas card & being a good scrapper, I saved but have known what to do with it. I did not get near enough mince pies this year ...

I love your month in number round ups. How long did it take to get those thank you letters written? My kids used to put that job off as long as possible!
