In Love with Cambridge

I've been to Cambridge before.
It was either 1993 or 1994.
I went with a bunch of female RAF colleagues
to see the Chippendales at the
{Ahem ...}
~ Punting on the Backs ~
This year, however, The Boy Child and I had the opportunity
to tag along with The Brainy One when he went to lecture for two days
at Cambridge University's Judge Business School.
And no joke, I fell in love with Cambridge. 
 ~ King's College ~ 
~ Church tower of St. Mary the Great ~
~ Gonville and Caius College,
with Trinity College and St. John's College behind ~

So much in love, I actually asked The Brainy One if there was any chance
of him being offered a permanent teaching position.  
And my Instagram feed is filling up with images like these above.

It is indeed very beautiful ... My DD was there, and it was a joy to visit! Your photos show off some of its treasures very nicely indeed.

Such a lovely city. I like the punting photo. I asked Mr Man a similar version of that question - can't he get a job transfer to England?

I used to visit my brother there and have lots of lovely memories of the days we spent wandering about, discovering stuff. It's a photographer's dream.

Oh I loved this post - I love Cambridge too and have the added benefit of it being just half an hour up the M11. It's my favourite place to go shopping because it's so nice to not just have a shopping mall, but to be able to step outside and find individual, independent shops in beautiful surroundings.
