Baxter's: A Rite Of Passage

No visit to my sister's house is complete without a visit to Baxter's Visitor Centre for a pancake. It's now almost a rite of passage for our little people, something we began about 10 years ago when my nephew was the same age DS is now. Both boys love the opportunity to play outside, and my nephew is more than happy to play with his wee cousin. Which is just as well, because DS absolutely adores him!
The favourite this morning was the wooden train ... "Look, Mummy! Thomas!"
And DS's Auntie L is a close second to cousin S in the adoration stakes just now. Me? I'm somewhere behind Uncle J and the pooch!

MMMmmmm pancakes - one of my favourite places for pancakes EVER was a little place we found driving back to Edinburgh from Stirling. Oh they were soooo good!!! Better than anything I've had over here since!! They were huge too! Probably a good thing I can't go there any more ;)

I love how little cousins idolise their big cousins :o). So glad you're having a good time (and weather) up in Scotland. Make the most of coming behind Uncle J and the pooch, you'll be centre of attention again soon enough!
