The One Starring *The Girl*

I have a treat for you today, as I have a guest blogger.
Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for ...

The Girl ...
"It is a privilege to be doing a post on someone else's blog, and I have a few exciting things that happened to me around this time.
Firstly, not so long ago our school had a talent show, based on Britain's Got Talent. This time, I managed to gather a lot of courage, and signed up. I was to perform a magic show with one of my friends.
He was to be my assistant, and he played the part of a grumpy person, clearly showing that he didn't believe in magic. Me and him performed two tricks, but not everything we first practised was actually performed. Believe it or not, we were voted second in the entire school by the teachers, and funnily enough, two of my friends from my class won first in the school!

I am a fan of Webkinz, a type of American cuddly teddy bears.
I am thrilled for my birthday to be during the Easter holidays, and I am going to be nine.
I hope you enjoyed my guest post, as I myself enjoyed writing about my adventures to the very last word.

The Tomboy (formerly known as The Girl, according to me it's changed anyway)"

This post was brought to you in association with Blogging for Scrapbookers and because I've had the honour of actually meeting The Girl Tomboy.

My goodness what a wonderful guest blogger you have had for us today. It was wonderful to hear firsthand the tales of a talent show place getter, it is not something I ever had the fortune to excel at or indeed the bravery to actually enter!
I do hope The Tomboy avails herself to other bloggers platforms, it is refreshing to hear the voice of the youth ...... that is not to imply that you are not youthful yourself Ruth ;-)

Ruth, do tell the Tomboy that I was very impressed, not only that she wrote such a great post, but that she came second in the school Talent Contest! Also wish her a very Happy Birthday when it comes

Just stopping by from Mel's blog because, although we've not met, I've heard an awful lot about The Tomboy from her mother. And believe me, I think she's well aware that The Tomboy is a more appropriate name :)

Looking forward to the day we finally meet, when we can share stories about skinned knees, short hair and you can tell me all about the talent contest in person x

Great post! My daughter still likes webkinz. . . do you play on line? If so, maybe I'll talk with your mum about getting your info. so she can send you something.
