Photo a Day: 15th December

I met a fox today.
There he was, bold as brass, out in the daylight.
First he trotted towards me, then he trotted away.
He continued with this little game for a good five minutes.
Then he lost interest.
And trotted off.

I met one on Tuesday in the dark at school. Scared the living day lights out of me as he ran past very quickly. I didn't have time to grab a camera :0)

We get them around here at night sometimes but they would generally run away if they saw someone. This one must have been quite used to people.

You are very brave - I think I might have been the one trotting away in the other direction!

I really hate them. They are one of the few animals that kill for fun. Just like some humans. One of those killed one of my chickens and injured the other last spring.
I hates 'em I do my precious...
