Home Alone

I'm not really home alone.
The Brainy One is here, as is the pooch, who has just about forgiven us for leaving him with the dog sitter when we went to Florida.
We went to our local gastro pub for dinner
But The Boy Child isn't here and I don't know what to do with myself.

He's fine - tucked up and fast asleep. He has been invited to lunch with little Miss tomorrow and an afternoon outing. He enjoyed himself today and has chatted like a little old man! 'Love you lots like jelly tots' makes him laugh! X

Aw, it must seem very strange for him to not be underfoot. I'm sure he's having a fantastic time with his grandma though! Can't wait to hear about his adventures. :o)

I bet he's loving spending time with Grandma. My mum always says it is weird when we have gone back to school and uni. She always says how quiet it is.

I always find it very strange and difficult to relax - not in an over anxious way, but more as in, by the time I start to wind down they are home again and my brain is all befuddled!

What wonderful memories he is creating this week. Hope you find your way to enjoying the quiet time, it will end before you know it and the new school year will be upon you :)

So lovely that he is able to spend some time with his Granny ... but, no doubt you are missing him.

I bet he is having a wonderful time with your mum - it's always worse for us mums when we are at home and they aren't there but enjoy the quiet - he will soon be back :-) xxx
