Santa's Contract Claus(e)

Santa is one smart cookie.
He knows that every year millions of children will ask him for coloured plastic building blocks.
He doesn't waste time and effort by tasking the elves to produce the required numbers of said plastic building blocks.
No, he contracts out.
To Lego.
This year, he added a clause to the contract.
Children receiving Lego with a value of more than £50 (a target easily achieved and surpassed without effort, if parents are not careful) at Christmas would be entitled to visit the Lego store in the New Year and fill a box of Lego for free.
For size, think small American-style Chinese take-away carton.
For filling, think mummy with eleven years of military Logistics experience.
For construction without instructions, think The Brainy One.
TARDIS, anyone?
And as for me. I want one of these.

Well done - all those years of packing and knowing size and weight came in very useful. Clever idea to contract out. Love the Tardis! Guess TBC was happy.

Yeah for all those logistics training skills coming in handy. Looks like a great tardis. Tis amazing how many adults want big lego sets :)

Love this story! And that VW van looks super cool. Maybe Santa will bring it for you next Christmas! :)

Just want to say that even though I rarely comment, your blog is one of the few I visit daily and I always love seeing TBC! (and you, too!) :)

that sounds like lots of fun - we played the lego board game a lot over Christmas - you have to build the picture on the card for others to guess
