Zoom In | Zoom Out

The Boy Child is, apparently, bad at Maths.
Or so we are told.
The school encourages the use of an app called Mathletics.
The Boy Child loves to use my iPad Mini.
He's never been so keen to do homework!
And after half-term, he will start Mathletics club on Tuesdays after school.
Now, all we need to work on is reining in his tendency to rush and jab at the first answer he sees.

Zoom In | Zoom Out is the brainchild of Helena.

Love this!
iPads are now considered an 'essential' at our school, so much so that every sixth former is given one when they go into Year 12!

That sounds very motivating - so much better than pen and paper and a text book!

We had to have a big conversation here about NOT jabbing all the maths answers until you randomly get the right one!
