There's always a few days, I find, after trans-Atlantic travel where the urge to not do much is strong.
Tuesday was pretty much a write-off.
Yesterday we made it to the park.
Today we made it as far as Chelsea to visit our friend.
This evening saw me tidy up some of the flower beds.
How do you cope with jet lag/post-holiday tiredness?

One day at a time... I had never experienced jetlag until after our trip to England last year. I was surprised that I didn't even start to feel "normal" until a full week had passed!

jetlag is horrible. I remember when we went to LA I read a lot about taking melatonin which you can buy there but not here. i even bought some, but then didn't have the nerve to take it

At our age we just plan a couple of days when we get home when we don't have to do anything and give in to it. I've heard about the melatonin but haven't tried it.
