Chiswick House and Gardens

When you own a dog, you have to walk it once a day, if not twice.
Even in the rain.
Today's destination was Chiswick House and Gardens.
It rained the whole time we were there.
But we were prepared.
The gardens are beautiful and were first laid in the 1720s.  Incredible.
The day wasn't quite what I'd had in mind, but given the weather, it turned out well.  The Boy Child was very good about not moaning and groaning.
A big change from the last Bank Holiday.
You can learn more about Chiswick House and Gardens here.

I do to know which I like more - the promise of something lovely inside that splendid glasshouse in the distance or inside your very classy thermos flask :).
