Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves

A quick word to say thank-you for all the lovely comments here and on FB about the post relating to my sister emigrating.
As previously said, it's all good.
We're from a family who have been expats.
We chose the same career, where living overseas was part of the attraction.
We're not the only ones who now live thousands of miles apart.
Planning for a visit is already underway.
It's all good.

This is such an adorable photo! It caught me off guard when I first saw it, thinking it was your boy child with a girlie haircut. So I'll just be the first to say that seeing a photo of you around the same age that your boy is right now - there is no denying he is YOUR child. xo

Like Deb I cannot believe how much you the boy child looks but also am always struck by how much you and your sister look like your mum.

YES! To the above comments - my goodness he looks like you Ruth!

I hope the move is going well for your sister - sounds like your family is used to the travel.

When that school photo was taken, who could have guessed the adventures you would have.
