3 large cooking apples (I used Bramleys).
2 heaped tablespoons of soft brown sugar.
Add a tablespoon or two of cold water.
Simmer on a medium-to-high heat until apples soften.
Transfer to a mixing bowl.
Blend to desired consistency.
Serve with 0% fat Greek yoghurt.
This extremely simple dessert is hugely popular in our house during the winter months.
I stew up a huge batch and then freeze in both individual portion sizes and family sized portions.
Neither portion sizes last long.
