Gingerbread Houses and Gløgg

I'd already cancelled.
This week, life has been too much.
I didn't know how I could stand and make small talk.
"Come," she said.  "Be with people who love you.
He'll be fine; we know him.
And we have alcohol for you."
So we went.
He was fine.
As was I, helped by a largish glass of Gløgg

We have similar story for yesterday but it was a lunch date with friends. We went and all enjoyed ourselves. Bring with people who know and understand brings a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Oh Ruth I am glad it turned out to be not such a bad day. You have good friends that get it. By the way the gingerbread house has a twin to it on this side of the big pond - our house building skills, not soooo good, thankfully it all tastes good.

I'm glad you went. Friends really do help when you need it. TBC did a great job on his house. Hope it tastes as good as it looks xxx
